Monitor summary of hypervisor services and state of virtual machines run by Hyper-V

Hyper-V Server

Hyper-V services run on Windows, so you must configure the node to monitor Windows first. Then, NetCrunch automatically detects the system is running Hyper-V services and ads Hyper-V Server Monitoring Packs, which tracks the state of Hyper-V services.

You can automatically add all Hyper-V guests to NetCrunch Atlas and alerts or collectors on Hyper-V metrics in the' Hyper-V' settings. You can also go to Custom settings and add standard metrics visible through the perfmon Windows monitor.

In the Node Status window, you can see the state of all virtual machines located on a given server.

Virtual Machines

If you monitor Hyper-V servers, NetCrunch recognizes the machine running on the Hyper-V server and shows the additional information in the Node Status window.

You can also add various alerts regarding the state of the virtual machine and its guest performance metrics. You can do this by clicking on Hyper-V/VM in the Node setting section.

Hyper-V Server View

The view gives you a quick overview of monitored Hyper-V hosts. When NetCrunch discovers any Hyper-V Server, it creates them automatically.

Hyper-V VM View

You can see all the information about all monitored Virtual Machines per map and on the Atlas level.
