HPE 3PAR StoreServ Sensor
The sensor allows monitoring of the performance of HPE 3PAR StoreServ storage using Web Services API.
Using this sensor you can monitor the state and utilization statistics of the storage objects:
- Common Provisioning Groups (CPGs)
- Disk Cages
- Virtual Volumes
- Physical Disks
- Ports
Requirements
HPE 3PAR Web Services API (WSAPI) must be configured and enabled on the monitored device.
Options
You need to pass your username and password. Use the same username and password that you use to access the 3PAR storage server through the 3PAR CLI or SSMC.
Alerts
- State of any Volume, CPG, Disk, or Port indicates a problem
- Free space is low
- Disk temperature is high
- Remote Copy is in an invalid state
By default, alerts are defined for each Volume, CPG, etc. You may configure your own alerts depending on your storage system specifications.
Reports (Data Collectors)
By default, the sensor adds reports containing metrics for used space of monitored Volumes, CPGs, and storage capacity.
