AWS Alarm Sensor
The Alarm Sensor monitors the status of Amazon alarms with CloudWatch API.
With this feature, you can keep track of your most important AWS Alarms, and extend monitoring to warn
about other AWS Alarm states like insufficient data.
The sensor also allows monitoring of all regions.
At least one configured CloudWatch Alarm is required.
Options
To use the Alarm Sensor you will need to provide Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. The user whose credentials are entered during sensor configuration needs access rights for CloudWatch queries.
Statuses
- This sensor provides the status for each alarm in the selected region (or all regions). If any AWS Alarm is in an "alarm" state, NC generates a Warning. The total number of statuses depends on the alarms' configuration. The status name is equal to AWS CloudWatch alarm name.
