Track the state of Windows updates on a machine - installed, available and failed - and find the machines still waiting for a reboot.

Windows Updates Sensor
The sensor monitors the status of Windows updates on a computer. Counts installed updates, updates available to install, and not installed updates. Allows triggering an alert if the installation of the update fails or when no update has been installed for a given time.
The minimum monitoring time for the sensor is 1 hour. Because the state of the Windows updates is rare, the recommended monitoring time is one day. You can check the current status of updates on System Views.
Querying for a list of updates may take a significant amount of time.

Categories of updates presented in NetCrunch may differ from their Windows Update counterparts. For example, Windows lists all Security and Critical as 'Important' while NetCrunch shows the severity of each update individually (Important, Critical, Low, etc.) Read more here Windows Update

Pending Reboot Sensors
This sensor checks a Windows machine for pending reboots using WMI. To use it, you need valid credentials for the monitored Windows machine.

Default Alerts
- Alert on pending reboot
- This alert is generated if any of updates mentioned above occur. You can edit it with the expression editor to choose reboot reasons that will cause the alert.
Credentials
Any valid credentials to the monitored Windows machine, allowing for access to the registry.
